Co-organizer of the event was the Regional Tourist Chamber of Burgas. Tour operators and journalists took a walk along the botanical path. A special presentation was organized for the students of the Vocational School of Tourism in Pomorie.
To make things easier for tourists, more than 20 information signboards will indicate how and where rare plants and birds can be observed at Pomorie Lake. The new tourist infrastructure is prepared by Green Balkans and financed within a project funded by Operational Program “Environment” 2007-2013.
The routes are established along already existing paths used by tourists and local people. The information signboards of the rare plants and habitats are installed along the dyke separating the lake from the sea, and the ornithological route marks the most important bird observation points along the southern and the western banks of the lake.
