The birds were young, collected from various parts of the country, and we treated them for about a month. Accompanied by some of the Rescue Center volunteers, they were released yesterday, once again at Ovcharitsa reservoir. Several days ago this same place became second home for four other swans. Despite the sudden wind gusts and the snow, the birds did not hesitate to choose freedom and bravely went swimming in the choppy waters of the reservoir.
We wish them luck and favorable winds as they will soon set out on their oldest route – the birds’ migratory route.
