Bat Night - Pomorie

First Picture
10.10.2013
The event took place at “Lake Pomorie” Visitor Center as a part of the “International Bat Night” campaign of the Ministry of Environment and Water implemented in 12 cities throughout the country. More than 60 participants of all ages took part in the event, turning it into a good tradition.
This time the event was celebrated during the day rather than at night on October 9th (Wednesday). The visitors had the chance to learn more about the usefulness of bats from the displayed banners and pictures including detailed information. Documentaries dedicated to the flying mammals were shown throughout the day.
The kids took part in art workshops and all the guests took pictures of the bat decoys.
And, by tradition, the participants had the opportunity to taste the bat cookies prepared for the event!
We are grateful to all those, who were involved in the realization of the Bat Night and we hope to see them again in future campaigns for the conservation of nature!

Join us in the other cities included in the Campaign, where the partner organizations of the project “International Bat Night” will organize various interesting events. More information is available at: http://www.greenbalkans.org/show.php?language=bg_BG&id=1945&cat_id=35. This campaign is implemented with the support of the Enterprise for Environment Protection Activities and the Ministry of Environment and Water.
